London Zoo - Universal Credit Tickets Tickets and Dates

Universal Credit tickets

Reduced price tickets for London Zoo are available for pre-booking if you are currently receiving Universal Credit, Working Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit, Employment and Support Allowance, Income Support or Jobseeker's Allowance.

These tickets are only available online, for up to 6 people per family (under 3's go free). There are no Universal Credit tickets available at the admissions gate.

To avoid disappointment, you must book in advance. If these tickets are unavailable for the date you select, please try another date.

Please note that London Zoo will be closed for routine annual maintenance 20-24 January and 27-31 January 2025.

You'll need to bring proof of eligibility with you and show this when you present your ticket(s) to our friendly staff at the Zoo entrance. This can either be by logging into your Universal Credit portal or by bringing your proof of benefit letter (one proof per household). To be eligible you must have received a Universal Credit payment within the last month and you may also be asked to show photographic ID.

Tickets are valid for entry from 11am and 1pm every day of the week. You are not required to enter the Zoo at the exact time on your ticket, but you can enter the zoo between the time stated on your tickets and one hour before closing time.

Unfortunately, you will not be allowed entry into the Zoo unless you are able to show one of the above documents (per household) as proof of eligibility alongside your ticket.

Please note, you can only buy a maximum of 6 tickets per booking.
